Maximizing Artificial Intelligence and Innovations toward Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals

Abstract
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) encapsulate global priorities for achieving a better 2030, outlining a plan of action through 17 identified goals to address humanity's critical challenges. This article explores the timely and impactful utilization of AI technologies to drive progress toward the SDGs, examining their potential impact in shaping a sustainable future. The study identifies and suggests specific AI initiatives to expedite progress in meeting SDG goals. The focus is on countering fundamental challenges through AI and related innovations, emphasizing the inter-relationships between SDGs, target areas, and AI innovations. Recommendations highlight AI's role in supporting economic growth, environmental sustainability, social inclusivity, and effective governance. It underscores the importance of ethical and responsible AI development for maximizing benefits and minimizing risks. The integration of AI and SDGs presents an opportunity for a more sustainable and inclusive global future.

APPLICABILITY OF DATA MINING SOFTWARE IN PROBLEM-SOLVING AND DATA ANALYSIS

Abstract
Information plays vital role in every sphere of the human life. It is very important to gather data from different data sources, store and maintain the data, generate information, generate knowledge and disseminate data, information and knowledge to every stakeholder. Due to vast use of computers and electronics devices and tremendous growth in computing, power and storage warehouse enables entire enterprise to access a reliable current database. To analyze this vast amount of data and drawing fruitful conclusions and inferences, it needs the special tools called data mining tools. This paper gives an overview of the data mining software tools, data mining techniques, data mining task, its applications in problem solving and data analysis and challenges of data mining usage.

Extent of Utilization of Blended Learning by Lecturers for Teaching and Students' Assessment in Computer and Robotics Education in Public Universities in Enugu State

Abstract
This study sought to analyze the extent of utilization of blended learning for teaching and students' assessment in computer and Robotics Education in public universities in Enugu State. The sample of the study was 312 lecturers. The study adopted descriptive survey research design. The instrument for data collection was a structured questionnaire. The data collected for this study was analyzed using mean and standard deviation, while null hypotheses were tested using independent sample t-test at 0.05 level of significance. Findings from the study revealed that Lecturers moderately utilize blended learning to conduct diagnostic and criterion-referenced assessments for teaching and students' assessment in computer and Robotics Education in public universities in Enugu State. The findings also revealed that there was no significant difference in the mean ratings of Lecturers with respect to years of experience on the extent of utilization of blended learning to conduct diagnostic and criterionreference assessments for teaching and students' assessment in computer and robotics education in public universities in Enugu State. It was therefore recommended among others that Public universities in Enugu State should organize regular training workshops and seminars for lecturers to improve their digital literacy and equip them with the skills needed to effectively implement blended learning in their teaching, particularly in Computer and Robotic Education.

Emerging Technologies and Adaptability as Correlate of Curriculum Design and Innovation of Industrial Technology Teachers of Colleges of Education (Technical) in Northern Nigeria

Abstract
The study was carried out to determine Emerging Technologies and Adaptability as Correlate of Curriculum Design and Innovation of Industrial Technology Teachers of Colleges of Education (Technical) in Northern Nigeria. A structured questionnaire was used as the instrument for data collection with 84 items. The instrument is based on five-point Likert scale. The instrument was subjected to face validation by five experts. Cronbach alpha reliability method was used to establish the internal consistency of the instrument 0.81 was obtained. The design of the study was correlation research design. The population size was 98 Industrial Technology Teachers in Federal Colleges of Education (T) Bichi, Gusau, Gombe and G-madi. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 25. The results showed that 1. A very strong and positive correlation exists between Emerging Technologies and adaptability of Industrial Technology Teachers in colleges of education (technical) in northern Nigeria. 2. A very strong and positive correlation exists between Emerging Technologies and curriculum design of Industrial Technology Teachers in colleges of education (technical) in northern Nigeria. 3. A very strong and positive correlation exists between Emerging Technologies and curriculum innovation of Industrial Technology Teachers in colleges of education (technical) in northern Nigeria. The following recommendation were made that the findings should 1. Be integrated into Curriculum Design for Industrial Technology Education. The study concludes that the implementation of emerging technologies in technology education underscores the necessity for ongoing professional development for educators, ensuring they remain informed about technological trends and pedagogical strategies.

Implementation of a Visualized Multi-Label Hate-speech Intensity model using Gradio

Abstract:
Past studies have contributed quite significantly to the detection of hate speech on social media platforms. However, most of such models stop at evaluating the models‟ efficacy. This has to be taken further with the provisions of the new ML UI tools to visually design an explainable predictive model with the plausibility of real-world usefulness beyond just accuracy. With this, classifying, scoring, and visualizing hate speeches from its mildest to aggressive form would be essential for the regulators of social networks and moderators of social platforms to be well-informed about the consequential scale of societal hate polarization flowing in the social space. UI visualization of hate speech provides high level warning signal that could go miles for actions that assuages the risk of potential violence. This study implements a user interface for determing the intensity of hate speech using Gradio and the well-known BERT model. BERT leverages the power of word contextualization and parallelization to reveal the most useful information from its key predictions. The proposed model was contextually efficient in differentiating between related hate comments through a simple interface. This study demonstrates a practically usable system to reliably rank the intensity of Hate-speech by their statistical probabilities.

UTILIZATION OF MOBILE DEVICES IN LEARNING TO ENHANCE ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT OF VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION STUDENTS

ABSTRACT
Utilization of mobile devices in learning to enhance academic achievements of the vocational and technical Education students is very important for the academic success of the students. This study aims at determining the extent of utilization of the mobile devices in learning to enhance academic achievement of the vocational and technical Education students. To achieve the purpose of the study, three research questions were developed and answered by the study. The research design adopted for the study was descriptive survey. 53 items structured questionnaire was developed and used for data collection. The developed instruments were subjected to face validation after which the final copies were given to the respondents. The consistency of the instruments was determined using Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient and a reliability coefficient 0.70 was obtained. The data collected were analyzed using mean, standard deviation and analysis of variance (ANOVA). The study found the utilization of mobile phone in very high extent on three items, high extent on four items and low extent on four items on enhancing the academic achievement of the students. Utilization of calculator in very high extent on three items. It was found that students utilized mobile phone to read and download lecture material to a very high extent. Conclusion was given and recommendations also were made that students should be given good orientation on the utilization of mobile devices to enhance their academic achievement.

Utilising a unique method to monitor Large Oil Storage Tanks' deformations via Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR)

Abstract
A method for monitoring the deformation of big oil storage tanks is proposed in this study. The method makes use of the Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) methodology. The purpose of this endeavour is to propose a solution that addresses the problem of oil spillage that occurs as a result of collapse of oil storage tanks. If massive oil storage tanks were to fail, it might have catastrophic consequences, including the loss of lives and property, the contamination of aquatic life, and the filing of lawsuits, among other things. Thus, the focus was on Forcados, Warri, Delta State, Nigeria as the location of the research area. The satellite imagery that were utilised were obtained from the Sentinel-1 Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite hub of the European Space Agency (ESA) between 12-months period, covering the months of March 2017 until March 2016. In order to determine the state of these engineering structures and to identify any significant deviations from their original design, it is pertinent to perform periodic monitoring of these structures from time to time. For the detection of likely displacements as well as validating deformations measured upon the crude oil storage tank, a technology known as Small Baseline Subset Differential Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (SBAS-DInSAR) approach was utilised. It was paired with an Object-Based Image Analysis (OBIA) approach to analyse the data. One of the 10 tanks that are located within the research area is used to illustrate the validation analysis. This tank is number seven. According to the findings, the horizontal distortions across the circular cross-section of the 7th Tank fall somewhere in a spectrum of - 29.669mm and -3.131mm over the course of the study. An essential difficulty in engineering geodesy and one of the leading petroleum provinces worldwide is addressed by the efforts made herein, which offer a solution that is both practical and economically viable.
